Using the seven colours of the spectrum, Colour Therapy aims to stimulate our body’s own healing process whilst balancing and enhancing our body’s energy centres, known as Chakras.
Each of the seven colours coexists with one of the main seven Chakras. When one of these Chakras is experiencing difficulty, applying the appropriate colour to the body can therefore re-balance the energy.

Used to treat both physical and emotional problems Colour Therapy may involve exposure to coloured lights, massage using colour-saturated oils, contemplating and visualising colours, even wearing coloured clothing and eating coloured foods.
Visiting a colour therapist should be an enjoyable and relaxing experience. The treatment room should be warm and the chair or couch comfortable. It is likely that the therapist will note your medical history. Depending on the reason for treatment, certain items of clothing may need to be removed in order to expose certain areas of your body to coloured lights.
